2nd Annual The Promise Chair Affair is About to Begin!!
The time has come, the waiting is over...the 2nd Annual Promise Chair Affair is about to begin! We need so much to get started in order to make this event a success! Details to come, but just wanted to get the word out to get excited that we will be having another Promise Chair Affair!!

ReplyDeleteThis is Bob Eskin. My wife Joan participated in last year's event. This message is not intended to be posted on the blog. Joanie passed away on December 27th, 2009.
Joanie had a wonderful time working with you and the other survivors last year and she met some people for whom she cared a great deal.
My wife was an avid crafter and collage maker and she left behind quite a few boxes full of craft supplies. I have been considering what would be the best way to put them to good use.
I think your Promise Chair project for 2010 is exactly the kind of thing Joanie would want me to donate some of them. It would make her feel good to know that other women can express their experiences through art just as she was able to. And by contributing towards raising money for Susan G Komen.
